Rebecca is passionate about working effectively with children, adolescents, their carers and schools to enhance lives and potentials.
Rebecca began Kaleidoscope Children's Services to help children and adolescents enhance their well-being, resilience, opportunities and engagement with their families and friends. Rebecca is experienced in working with children as young as two and a half years old to adolescents transitioning to adulthood. Rebecca is passionate about sharing effective strategies that can bring children and their families increased understandings about themselves and enhanced opportunities to thrive in their lives and integrate well within the community.
Rebecca is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist. She holds a Master of Educational Psychology degree from the University of Melbourne and has 15 years of professional experience working with families, children and adolescents in the developmental, learning and mental health fields. She has provided child and adolescent psychological intervention and assessment services in Australia and Singapore. In Singapore, she was part of a multi-disciplinary community mental health team that worked closely with schools and families. She also provided clinical services within the developmental and mental health departments at the women's and children's hospital. In more recent years, Rebecca has been working with the Department of Education to provide psychological services to students, families and schools.
